Everyone Needs A Hero

Updated: Sep 12, 2020

When I first started doing music more professionally, I realized I couldn't sing very well. I could write songs pretty OK. But singing? No way! After thinking about it for a long time, I contacted Stu Epps.

Stu is an iconic music producer from London, and has worked with Elton John, Led Zeppelin, Queen, Twisted Sister and many other up and coming artists.

Stu liked my songs, but didn't like the way I recorded, produced, mixed and mastered them. That said, he loved my guitar parts.

So, for a very reasonable price ($1,000 USD) he re-recorded the songs and hired a professional singer, Lisa-Marie Falloon. She goes by "Lisa Grand", now. Stu re-mixed and re-mastered the song, and it sounded wonderful. Stu and Lisa saved the song.

Listen here: Everyone Needs A Hero

I originally wrote this song for Superman (Dawn of Justice), but it was rejected by Warner Brothers. And today, Eddie Caldwell is shopping the song to Sony, Time Warner, and Disney. Eddie's biggest artists are Alicia Keys and Beyoncé Knowles.

With the pandemic reaching a new peak, and much of our country raging, we need to remember the only way out is through. Even the strongest of us needs a hero now and then.

Be someone's hero.

And thank God for the internet, which makes it possible for me to connect with you while I'm not touring.
